Standing Bear's Footsteps Trailer

I worked as the Associate Producer for Standing Bear's Footsteps, a 60-minute historical documentary which will be broadcast nation-wide in October 2012 on PBS. The documentary was funded in part by Native American Public Telecommunications (NAPT). Click here to explore the press page for Standing Bear's Footsteps.

Bright Eyes - a Nebraska Story

This video broadcast 2011 April in NET Television for their Nebraska Stories series.  I wrote, voiced and produced this story about Bright Eyes (Susette La Flesche) of the Omaha Tribal Nation in Nebraska; my tribe. I created this as a companion piece to the 60-minute documentary Standing Bear's Footsteps. Bright Eyes helped Standing Bear translate and went on the eastern tour with him promoting Indian rights in the late 1800's.
